It is now confirmed that Russias President, Vladimir Putin, is dead from gunshot wounds received as he
entered the Kremlin approximately 2 hours ago.
Although details are currently sketchy, according to witnesses, 2 men in Putins security detachment fired
on the President with automatic weapons on the steps of the Kremlin. Putin was on his way to a meeting
with US ambassador Gary Kellerman at the time of the shooting. No word has yet been released as to
Ambassador Kellermans whereabouts or safety.
Sergey Kudrin, Russias former Minister of Defense, has seized control of the fledgling Russian
government according to White House sources.
In a pre-recorded statement, Kudrin stated:
The United States, much like Nazi Germany, has invaded mother Russia and Putin did nothing. We will
not be puppets to the United States and I can no longer stand by and watch our country become corrupted
under US control. US soldiers will find themselves like their Nazi brothers, cold and dead on our Russian
soil.
Neither the White House, nor the Pentagon has yet made a formal statement, however one White House
official who wished to remain anonymous, reacted to the news:
We never touched their military bases when we invaded. If Kudrin has the full support of the Russian
military
this is bad. This is extremely bad for our people over there. How did this happen?
It is anticipated that the President of the United States will make a short statement in approximately 2 hours
at 3p.m. EST.
