Playing as Brazil... Huge Explosion... Not being literal

Well, I was playing as brazil... profits were normal for a while, you know, 500m balance (with all budgets maxed)

Then suddenly this happened.

And im like WTF! It kept going and going to 7 Trillion balance! I eneded up with 35 trillion in the bank. So naturally I spent a lot of money building up millitary. Ended up with 5,000,000 soldiers, 35k Land Units and a lot of air power too. It appeared to coming from the services sectors. They were trading a huge amount with other countries, which means somebody really needed services...

Then, after a few years of growing it went down, very fast. I was left with a huge defict of balance...

What the hell would cause that huge explosion then a mass downfall?

Well, I am not sure, but logically speaking, if someone needed services, then received said services from you over a period of time, at some point, their demand for services must have been met, thus meaning they wouldn't need you.

Just guessin'

Cause economy ain't my thing.

Single player, Yes. Now that I think about it, I had common markets with Nigeria, Indonesia, Phillipines, and Ethiopia.

But why would it massively crash after time and leave me with a deficit instead of what I had before the explosion?

The thing about superpower is that no matter what youre economy will become stagnant at some point in time. You can post pone it...but sooner or later it will happen.

common markets can get you to a higher peak, faster.

Yeah, this. It probably really depends on the economics of the USA, China and India.
